Refund Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2025

At Mike Clark Trucking, we pride ourselves on reliable delivery and high-quality materials. Due to the nature of our business, we have a strict refund policy to ensure fairness and clarity for all parties.

General Policy

• All sales are final once materials have been delivered and dumped.
• If material is unloaded but not dumped, you may request a refund for the material only — not the freight.
• Freight will be billed at a rate of $160 per hour, round trip, even if it exceeds the original quoted rate.
• No refunds will be issued for materials after they are dumped, spread, or otherwise placed on-site.

Freight Charges

• Freight time begins when the truck leaves our yard and ends upon return.
• If delivery is attempted but cannot be completed due to customer-related issues (e.g., locked gates, unsafe dump area, inaccessible terrain), freight will still be charged.
• Additional time beyond standard unloading (e.g., wait time, repositioning equipment, or hand-unloading delays) may result in extra hourly charges.

Cancellations & Changes

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled delivery.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a $100 cancellation fee or the actual time incurred by the truck if already dispatched.

Returns (If Applicable)

• Undumped material may be returned
• Dumped material can be returned only if it can be safely reloaded uncontaminated and transported.
• Customer is responsible for the cost of return freight billed at $160/hour.
• Returned material is subject to inspection. A restocking fee up to 25% may apply.

Disputes

• Disputes regarding delivery or material quality must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
• Please include photographs and a detailed explanation for review.
